District 33 — Portland

I feel blessed to live in the best district in the best state in the union. I’m a lifelong Oregonian who was born and raised in Portland. I received an undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Oregon. Despite opportunities to live in other parts of the country, I have chosen to stay and build my professional career and raise my family in this district.

I have been married to my lovely wife, Allizon, for four-and-a-half years. We have one son, Henry, who is almost two years old. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our second little boy, who is due in June.

For nearly ten years, I have worked as a health care consultant for many large providers throughout the country. I have primarily focused on helping them navigate through our country’s ultra-complicated reimbursement system to get paid for the services they perform. I have had several articles published in Healthcare Financial Publications, and have delivered presentations on revenue cycle strategies.

I am a strong believer in community service – and have had the privilege of being a big brother for Big Brothers of America, a coach for Special Olympics, and the treasurer for Oregon Literacy.

In our spare time, my wife and I like taking Henry to the zoo, swimming pool, and parks. I also enjoy running, college football, and pizza.
